What is useful to send.

Precision matters more than volume of text. A short, exact answer on each of these points is worth more than a brochure, and it is what a buyer will ask for anyway.

  • Legal identity, role in the chain and the region where you operate.
  • Products and forms: fresh, pure powder, formulated blend, purée or paste, other.
  • Declared capacity and seasonality, distinct from cultivated area or planting material received.
  • Minimum order, packing formats, shelf life and any batch analyses you can provide.
  • Certifications you hold, with issuer, scope and validity - we verify with the issuer, not with the claim.

What we do with a submission.

A submission is recorded privately for review by La Refonte. It is not published on this site, and it is not forwarded to a buyer without asking you first. If your organisation already appears in our public directory, that record is built from public sources only; a submission lets you correct or complete it.

03

What we will not promise you.

We will not promise an order, a volume, a price or a listing. We do not charge producers to appear in the directory and we do not sell placement in it. If an assignment involves work on your side, its scope and terms are agreed in writing before anything starts.

Associations, cooperatives and support bodies.

Many Philippine ube growers are organised through associations and cooperatives, and are accompanied by public programmes and universities. If you represent such a group, a submission on behalf of the group is useful even when individual members do not have a website. Support organisations are listed separately from suppliers, because they accompany the sector rather than sell into it.

Common questions.

Do I need a website?

No. A large part of the sector has none. Your region, your role and what you can actually supply matter more than a web presence.

Is a submission a listing in the directory?

No. The public directory is built from public sources and is documented as such. A submission is a private record for review; adding or correcting a public entry is a separate decision and is always sourced.

Do you pay for the ube?

UbeTerra does not buy for its own account. A buyer contracts with you directly. We coordinate the introduction and the exchange.

Which language should I write in?

English is easiest for us. Filipino, Cebuano or French are also fine - write in the language in which you can be precise.

None of the organisations listed is a partner, a verified supplier or a holder of stock available to UbeTerra.
