What we do.
Our work is research, selection and coordination. It produces a shortlist you can defend, an introduction to a real interlocutor, and a set of comparable answers on composition, origin, capacity, packing and terms.
- Regional mapping of the Philippine ube sector from public, dated sources.
- Selection by intended use, composition, form and volume rather than by colour or marketing claims.
- Coordination of introductions, sample requests, documents and quotations.
- A written record of what each organisation actually declared, and of what remains unverified.
What we do not do.
Being explicit about this is part of the service. UbeTerra does not hold stock, does not own farms or factories, and is not a transaction platform. There is no escrow, no marketplace checkout and no delivery guarantee on this site.
- We do not sell from stock and we do not quote a price on behalf of a producer.
- We do not certify a supplier, a certificate, an origin or a capacity.
- We do not present the organisations in our directory as contracted partners.
- We do not publish personal contact details of the people behind them.
Role, responsibilities and fees are agreed first.
Before an assignment starts, we agree in writing who does what, which side we act for, what we are responsible for, and how our work is paid. No commission rate is advertised on this site, because it depends on the scope you actually need. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell or a mandate.
Our presence in the Philippines.
The project started on the ground in the Philippines and keeps a working presence there. It is used to reach cooperatives and processors that are not reachable through the web, and to arrange farm or plant visits when an assignment justifies it. It is not an office network, a warehouse or a contracted supply base, and we do not describe it as one.
Common questions.
Are the organisations in the directory your partners?
No. They are organisations documented from public sources. None of them has been contacted, audited or qualified for this directory, and none is a contractual partner of UbeTerra.
Do you take a commission?
Our work is paid, and how it is paid is agreed in writing before an assignment starts. We do not advertise a rate here because it depends on the scope: a shortlist, a qualification round and a full sourcing programme are different assignments.
Who signs the supply contract?
The buyer and the supplier contract directly. We coordinate the exchange; we do not become the seller and we do not take title to goods.
Can you guarantee delivery, certification or a price?
No. Composition, origin, certification, capacity, price and delivery terms come from the selected organisation and must be verified for the specific lot and destination.
